cleaning print head

Hi Zortrax Team,

Wonder why the tip of my nozzle so dirty… and how can i clean it?

please refer to the pictures below

Please advise.

Thank you

See that little plastic curl touching the tip? That gets suck on there and burns. I just use the tweezers and pinch the nozzle and scrape down a few times.

You could try acetone when it is cold or a wire brush when it is hot. I have only used the wire brush but put some paper towel on the print bed to prevent any debris from getting in the holes. Be careful though when it is hot and don’t touch the brush to the table (conductive areas) and the head or you get a nice spark show.

thanks guys for the information… will do it tomorrow with the acetone… need to find it first
