This is a clip to hold the filament in place when not in use this fits the Zortrax spools I don’t know if it will work on others I don’t have them to try

Yikes! So what to do with them? I feel guilty environmentally but there should be a way for us to return them for re-use/recycling like inkjet cartridges. And I really don’t like cardboard spools 
We need to find a third party filament manufacturer in the USA that wants to buy our empty spools.
Unfortunately Octave uses a different spool size.

i would say we need to talk zortrax into making filament maker for us, so we will not have to sell our spools and save the nature. Zortrax would be first company to make the best printer and filament maker to compliment it. Think about it. It must be worth being the first.
