I haven't done a spiral ("single-wall vase") print in a while, but I remember the extruder making an unnecessary squiggle (or reversal?) at the end of each layer, resulting in a seam on the print. Doing one now sliced with 1.5.0.1 and the squiggle seems gone - a tiny pause while the bed lowers, but smoother than I remember it being previously. Assuming I'm not imagining things, well done, Zortrax!
just tried the new spiral mode... not so impressed, it resulted in 2 seams :P
hmmmm i think it was my bad the model was already shelled and not solid and resulted in a double wall. i reprint it now but using a solid model and shelled in zsuite and i think it will be ok...
ps. yes. spiral mode is just fine :)
