I like the frame idea. Incredibly, this https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/391466300/worlds-most-conductive-3d-printing-filament does not look like it will be funded, but if it ever does get produced you could integrate printed wiring in the frame  :)

It’s a pity if this will not be funded, but not much time left.

That is cool stuff, I will get some if it ever gets out to market

Try half a ping pong ball over the led to get a more evenly spread light.

thnkz bluevoid, that's a good idea.. actually one of the things that bothered me was you could see the leds through the kiss-cuts in the paper.

Just made the led attachment beams today, prior reading your post but it will be easy to glue the ping-pomg balls on the beams. going to try that one

ps.. I made the red parts on the ultimaker.. although much lower quality it still is fun to make very quick and dirty prints without rafts on kapton tape at 150 mm/s whenever no quality is needed  :-)
