Kuka-inspired robot project

Is there any news that Zortrax can share on the release of component files and details for building and running the Kuka-inspired robot that has been featured on the Zortrax blog site?

Check their FB page. Somebody asked similar question.

Q: Hi, Any chance to get a copy of the .stl file of your Robotic Arm? :)

A: John, unfortunately, these designes are strictly proprietary. Go to our forum for other interesting models http://forum.zortrax.com/

So sad...

 Hum...

Of course it's a beautiful object, but not very fonctional; only two axes animated.

I think it would have been cool to print it if it had more complete moving possibilities  :P

We want to prepare contest on some upgrades for this model, of course all design files, electronic wiring diagrams, firmware etc will be available :)

Thanks Rafal - does it look like days, weeks or months until something will be available for download?

Mike

Mike, I think 2 weeks.

Sounds good Rafal - just in time for Christmas.  I'm starting get really interested in mechanically-oriented projects for 3D printers so this is of special interest.

What is the current status of this project and when will the files be available?
