The nozzle was blocked, so I soaked it overnight in Acetone, now it is clear, verified with light and the .35mm rod that came with the printer. Unloaded and reloaded the filament. I did notice that when I loaded the filament (ABS), that no material came out, good indication of a blocker, as in the past I get a small amount. Can the feed be blocked elsewhere?
Its probably blocked on top of the hot end. Pull hot end down and you should see the blockage right there. Either a tweezer will pull it or a small drill bit.
Cheers
Thank you so much, the feed was totally blocked, I removed, and heated the feeder over a stove, and cleared the block with a coat hanger. Would love to see a cleaning rod in the maintenance kit.
I just use a small drill bit. Julia had posted about a rod that you can get from mcmaster-carr that works perfectly...I haven't gotten around to that yet. lol
I use a drillbit from the bottom while pushing from the top with filament to make sure that the plastic doesn't get pushed up any further. No removal necessary.

I prefer this stuck removing method.

This method can work as a quick-and-dirty fix, but the caution is that you could also just push molten plastic further up into the feed tube.
Thanks Julia. I just ordered them. ha Its only been a month or two since you mentioned them. lol Kinda slow but eventually it gets done. :)
