Nozzle threads broke off inside hot end during removed for cleaning

I was cleaning the nozzle on my M200. Upon removal of the nozzle, the threads broke off inside the hot end, I believe this nozzle was installed incorrectly cause there is no chance I broke it with the amount of force i exerted. I am not sure what to make of this, if i try to remove the threaded section of the nozzle inside the hot end, i may end up with more damage. Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone know if it is possible to get a new V2 hot end under the warranty, from the way this looks, the threads are pretty deep and the metal the hot end is constructed from is too soft and can be damaged with little effort, I know nozzles are relatively inexpensive, however a hot end replacement due to this type of issue feasible?

Thanks

- I did heat the nozzle per the instructions for removal.
