Perf board - what's it made from?

Hi,

I was wondering what the perf board (the removable piece on top of the heated build plate) is actually made from? I know the printer frame/casing is aluminum, but I wasn't able to find the perf board composition anywhere in the specs

Most likely it's standard FR4 fiberglass/epoxy composite, same as used for PC boards (since it actually is a PC board) :) It's just coated with whatever the white stuff is on the outside.

I wouldn't mind knowing what the white coating stuff on the outside is either, though (paint?).  :)
