This was printed with 0.14 and loose fill. Latest firm/software.
The surface is not closed properly. It would be great if we could choose how many layers are on top and bottom surfaces.
I’m sure they’re working on improving this. I think it’s not so much a matter of more layers (although that’s a good option as well and standard in other slicers) but of tweaking flow rates etc to get better layer overlap and coverage.

Why is layer thickness is not selectable, perhaps somebody would like to sand a part, or mill some etc.

Because the software is still beta and many features are in the process of being implemented.
