Check the connections to the Z axis stepper motor. One of my printers was received with one of the connector pins not fully inserted in the connector housing and had this issue.
We solved the problem, we have changed the plateform and now it's ok.
Maybe the plateform connector's was damaged....

Grab a multimeter and test for conductivity between the top silver pads and bottom of the perfboard. I bet you will find areas of conductivity. I have seen dozens of boards like this.
Best fix I have found is to apply kapton tape to the aluminium bed, insulating it from the bottom of the perfboard.
