Z-Suite - Advanced Print Settings

Hi,

Anyone know for what can I use OFFSET parameter in  Advanced Print Settings??

One of the uses is to compensate shrinking inside holes. If you don't compensate the hole will be (after print and cooling) smaller than it was in the drawing.

I have my inner set to .13mm That seems to be really close..Outer I left alone.

What does the outer offset do?  Since the Hole (Inner) Offset makes holes bigger, I'd thought that the Outer Offset would reduce the OD of round parts, but it seems to increase them instead.

Yes it increase OD, because at shrinkage holes become smaller and model OD smaller then offset options let only to increase size.

Martin

Thanks Martin.  Have you considered an option in future for negative offset values that would (presumably) make the outer contour smaller?  Or maybe it is better to use <1 scale factors for X/Y/Z?
