API (public or un-supported)

Hey, just got my M200 Plus. Amazing machine, amazing experience. One short question: Does it have a API (public or un-supported) for reading status and/or camera feed?
Since we live in 2021 it would be nice to create some external indicator lights that shows the status of the printer…or publishing the camera feed on a large external screen.

Yeah, how do I see the camera view from another device than the one running Z-suite?

Hi @wpns,

I encourage you to have a look at Zortrax inCloud. Thanks to Zortrax inCloud, you can monitor your device from any place you want. The printer and computer do not have to be connected to the same network, hence you can even use a mobile web browser in order to access the camera. You will find more detailed information regarding inCloud in the user guide.

Yeah, I get the inCloud thing, but it doesn’t do everything I want. I’d like to scrape the camera picture to my own webpage, I’d like to get an email when my printout is done or something else interesting happens, I’d like to make time-lapse movies, etc. I had this all with an external Raspberry Pi on my M200, but I figured the camera and network capabilities would allow me to do the same with my M200Plus.
