Do you think it’s possible to make a whole magazine (minus the spring i suppose) with this machine? I am thinking about getting a 3d printer and that would be something I would want to try out.

It is possible but Z-ABS probably isn’t quite strong enough. I printed one out and posted photos here. I think the PC-ABS would be best whenever that is available…
