Belt replacement

I need to replace one of the small belts that go from the stepper motors to the shafts and was wondering if there is any step by step how to on doing that? From looking at it it seems you have to dissasamble the whole top of the printer to get to them

thank you Stefan

Seems I have to do that, there are alot of howtos on replaceing nearly everything but none for the belt? I mean they are a wear part so I hoped that there is some documentation on how to do it...

the only topic I found that comes up when looking for belts is this http://support.zortrax.com/axes-maintenance-m200/ and it only talks about tensioning

thank you it seems he realy had the same Problem but I think mine is caused by the pully not aligned 100% but the result is the same -> broken belt.

Looks like I have a big job to do also if someone from Zortrax reads this I think his idea of a 3mm spacer is just genius and would make the job so much easier!

I will write support tomorrow to get the percise instructions he talked about and give it a try

Will let you know how it turned out

thx again Stefan

Hi all, sry I completely forgot post the results of the surgery.

Well it all went very well the patient is up and running ;) in the end it was not that complicated once you know which screws you have to open.

unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the process sry :(

Big thank you to the support team for giving great instructions on how to do it!
