Best material for the job?

Hi, I basically need a strongest possible adhesion between layers (so the model can withstand interference fit, I reached the limits design wise, all I can think of now is setting and possibly good material choice). Right now prints in ABS sometimes fail (~25%). Setting wise, all I can think of now would be lowering layer height, which is not a good solution considering print time. Is there anything better I can get? Or maybe go deeper into settings?

hi. increasing layer heights can actually improve layer adhesion as can turning off any fans completely. the best zortrax material ive used for strength and ease of use is their z nylon on my m200 plus. otherwise i had pretty good results using filamentum ASA on an M200 using a z temp hot end.
