Sending you the zcode files Marcin....... -db
More samples of the difference between 0.9.6.0 and 2.4/2.5 ZSuite...... An interesting observation is that the quality issue appears to be on the right side of each of the items while the left sides stay relatively uniform. .29mm Z-ABS - One model copied 12 times on to the print bed. Additionally, these were printed on the same printer with the 2.4 version first and then the 0.9.6.0. The first picture shows the relatively uniform left side and all of the others are from the right side. Second to last picture shows the entire print job.
Thanks David,
For posting this valuable information here.
I already suspected this...hopefully Zortrax recognize this very soon.
there is no chance I believe that 2.6.0 would do any better I suppose.
Going back to a previous version ! And thank you again. I have (hard) learned my lesson.
Zortrax will address it and ZSuite will be better for it. In the meantime, we're back to our 2015 version at .9.6.0 We've purchased ten M200s based upon the quality we obtained from .9.6.0 and I'm sure they can get us there again with the newer software and additional features. I just hope the core logic doesn't require a complete rewrite to get us there. ;-)
I have been trying to reinstall 0.9.6.0 without any luck.
ZSuite seems to update automatically to the latest release 1.1.13.1 (Did a test print but results are not okay)
Do you know how to downgrade without auto update on.
And yes all of this can be true but I have no clue anymore how to solve this right now.
I will take a cup of coffee

On the Mac I just append the version number to the Application name and it won't replace it with a new or old installation ie "Z-Suite 0.9.6.0" is what I have called "Z-Suite". PC's are different...... Sorry. -db
Going back to 0.9.6 and print almost perfect !!!
do you know witch version does have the ability to lift the part from the building plate.
So that I can avoid warping.
Is it not possible to make the code of 0.9.6 available and others in 2.6.0 as some kind secure backup if printing is going bad.
So you can simply switch from one version to another without having the need to downgrade a release.
Or having some kind save as function to version related

I have reverted back to v1.10.0, new z suite just ain't doing it for me.
Too many profiles economy print, large print, small print, use last settings (how do i know what the last settings were) etc.
Supports seem to be worse.
Too many steps and checks before slicing.
Sliced 3D view of model is harder to see the layers compared to older version
The only time i would use the latest version would be to use the editable support.
I continue to work with Marcin on the surface quality issues and support problem (hard as hell to remove on 2.6.0). I've done another test ensuring I was using an M200 w/ 2.0 extruder and extruder PCB board. Z-ABS @.29 and lite support. Discouraging results below:

Yeah, this case is quite interesting as my results are different.
Let's keep in touch.
Just as a side note (and not meant to upset anybody) but I currently don't see any reason why it shouldn't be possible to convert ZCode (or GCode) to ZCodex.
Actually this is possible right now with freely available tools and a bit of manual work. At least Z-Suite can be easily tricked to accept ZCode "converted" to ZCodex (well, it's not even really a conversion).
Anyway, I mainly was too lazy to implement ZCodex support up to now and haven't found volunteers yet to test some things on an actual M200 Plus.

This is a good idea and it can be the just external additional program it even doesn't require to be included in Z-Suite just simple application to load gcode/zcode and get zcode/zcodex/gcode for Zortrax programmers it can be just a few days of work but I can bet that they have something like a this for internal use since years.
Once when I got debug version of Z-Suite from Zortrax to test my Z-Suite issue after deeper look I found out that debug version of Z-Suite generated additional .gcode file in App folder (for sure they use this for debugging purpose because exist many free tools to analyze gcode and none for zcode) and it was around 2 years ago.
Unless something unexpected happens, I guess I will add import/export of ZCodex in one of these existing external tools within the next weeks ;)
BTW: exporting G-Code was always there under the hood, I just disabled it in the official release since I thought it would be somewhat pointless and could upset the Zortrax management.
Also some other in-depth ZCode display/import/export features are disabled for that reason. So if I have something like this, you can be sure that the people at Zortrax have an enhanced internal version of Z-Suite that allows all kind of internal analysis. And you can be pretty sure that they don't intent to share it with the public.

Let's devise a course of testing and figure this out. I need to add more printers but can't until this is behind us...... -David
David, can you send me the files (both zcodes, and stl ones)?
If you need NDA no problem.
We would like to test this also, and help to solve this. We have found great results with suppport removal on latest versions that is comparable if not even better to 0.9.6.0. We have a 25 farm and we are testing M200 plus next week, so very important to define if it will work ok.

We appreciate your offer to look at this as well (misery loves company ;-) ). No NDA required as we've already been awarded our patent. I will assemble files and send them to you. - Kind Regards, - David Barwin
Done. To be found at the usual places.
