Coffee cup

Hi All.

Is it safe to make a coffee cup with Z-Abs or Ultra-T or would it poison the drinker?

Thats a good question. I am interested in this question too!

I print parts in Ultra-T that comes in ice/cold drinking water. So i think thats no problem because its very cold.

PETG is the better material, but printing it is very hard i think, especialliy if you have flat supports. Its nearly impossible to remove them

Also,

I think Z-ABS and Z-ULTRA ( a kind of ABS following the Zortrax MSDS) is not usable for food.

I don't plan on selling anything. I just want to know if its toxic/poisonous?

@onap: What do you mean with "MSDS"

MSDS or PSDS is a document giving important information about chemical information about the product. It is necessary for the safety use and potential hazard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safety_data_sheet

Example for the Z-Ultra: https://zortrax.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Z-ULTRAT_Material_Safety_Data_Sheet1.pdf
