What does it do better ?
What does it do better ?
Looks like it stops the cable wiggling in its socket, transfers the stress up the cable a few cm.
Thanks,
What is the layer height of the original printer head ? or what is the recommended layer height for this project?

The previous version used Z-ABS @ default settings (.14 layers).
Wouldn't it be ironic if my ribbon cable fails while printing this part

we were printing ours (from 15th of February all printers are going to be shipped with it) @ 0,19
Does it fit with the old ribbon cable?

it fits every cable, including V1
Dear Marcin
As you can see attached there is a gap of 0.6mm. Please share STEP file, to be able to change it to fit my sheetmetal part.
regards Michael
Well done Marcin, it seem really a good solution for flat !
Love the new Extruder Top Cover (so much so that I printed one for each of my six m200s) BUT it creates a new issue when trying to remove the extruder motor to clean the extruder gear or access the extruder bearing (which I've just recently had two fail). The plastic piece that runs behind requires that you remove the wire cable from the motor and not just the PCB board. Accessing that connector is not easy and I've now pulled the black wires out of the motor cable ends on two of my printers. Called to order replacements from 3DProShare and they don't have them.
A little redesign of that piece would be nice! And a source for those tiny little cables that practically pull the eyes out of my head trying to fix.......
Looks like the only way to access the motor cable( for those of us with early M200's that use the screw block to make connections) is to actually remove the two screws from the PCB board and lift off the electronics. It's a must to avoid damaging the motor cable.
Also could you make it lighter if possible, noticed it has increased in weight from the original.
Hi, do you have the new version mounted on news M200 Plus? It has some differences
