I got tired of changing the spools every time I need to change colors so I made this shelf that holds 5 rolls ,.

each role has its own cleaner and rolls individually  it work very good.

now with the one in the back and the one on the cabinet, and 5 on the shelf I can have 7 colors ready to go

how will this work with tangled filament at the spool?

I am shore not good but I have other ways for them

What I was talking about was what would happen if filament is tangled at the spool and the extruder continues to feed.

Would the spool be pulled down the shelf or is there some mechanism that stops that or brakes the filament to stop pulling the spool down?

I have never had a spool tangle yet and since it never comes off the shelf and never comes out of the cleaner it never tangles I have not had any problems with it so far
