I have found 1 small bug in the new FW 1.0.5: If you print a model that had a "Pause" set in it with ZSuite and at the successful conclusion of printing that piece you let your M200 go to "Sleep", when you awaken your printer it brings up the wrong dialog box and you can't seem to exit it. This only happens (in my experience) if your model had a ZSuite pause set........
David, what are those black parts used for in the first picture?
Hey Andy! We have a patented design on Modular Articulating Magazine Pouches for Law Enforcement, Shooting Competitors and Sport Shooting Enthusiasts. That picture (with the pouches upside down) is of an order of 40 quad pouches for a new customer of ours.

Ah, so that's what those things are! Would make for a great test case for epoxy infiltration, I wouldn't mind printing a couple myself. Is it friction fit or is there a latch that holds the mag in?
Also, that is a lot of ammo he's packing. Guess the guy's heading for Kabul or Detroit?

Friction fit....our design uses a nut and bolt around the back of the pouch to allow the user to manually set their desired retention. Law Enforcement typically set them pretty snug so a magazine isn't dislodged during a foot chase or defensive tactics. Competitive shooters leave them a fairly loose for speed of retrieval.........
Was thinking of putting the part in a vacuum chamber with runny resin to impregnate it.
Somewhat expensive considering most of the resin is wasted, but increases the strength and weight of 3d printed parts. Haven't had a chance to try it out myself though.

I have resin, vacuum chamber, vacuum pump, Zortax M200 and 3d prints...... maybe i have to give this a try
And when I power up the printer the display says (very rapidly, had to use SloMo on my iPhone to see what was flashing by):
Zortrax Bootloader v1
Memory card connected.
Update.bin found.
then the ZORTRAX logo.
And the firmware status is still showing as 1.0.4
Any idea what I'm doing wrong, and how I might fix it? I've tried 3 different SD cards, written the files with Mac and PC, reformatted on the PC as FAT, to no avail...

Have you got any problems while upgrading to 1.0.4 before?
