Hello guys,
Looking at the following picture, the top of the sides are so much cleaner and make a much better top finish than the actual top. Do you have tips to improve the top and bottom layer? They look like crap in comparison to the top of the side.
Thanks !
The sides are not beveled by the way. They are straight and flat.
Hello, this is some of the skills I have accumulated to improve the bottom of the top layer of FDM 3D printer. I don’t know if this is suitable for your printer, I hope it can help you.
Maybe you can level and calibrate the bed. A pro peel bed is essential for a smooth and even bottom layer. An uneven bed can cause uneven extrusion, resulting in under-extrusion (if the nozzles are too far away) or over-extrusion (if the nozzles are too close together).
Solution: Calibrate the print bed regularly. Most modern FDM 3D printers come with automatic leveling, but manual calibration with a piece of paper or feeler can also be effective.
If you know our printers you should know the calibration you describe is not possible
