just had an issue with my V2 hotend (Support case is open): The hotend was leaking on the top where it's screwed to the little metal plate. So I replaced it (300h printing time with my M300) with the one that was in the package luckily and everything is fine again. Funny side-effect: I always had dark spots and marks after a certain printing time right from the beginning with the M300. With the hotend- replacement it's gone... so far...
I'm not so sure... I guess the hotend could be improved...
Every print the nozzle hits the plate a little to set distance... I guess this can lead to weak spots as the one where the plate is screwed to the hotend right?
I did hear from MicroSwiss that they were working on a All Metal Hotend for the M200. But I was also told by somebody else that they have been saying that for a very long time..... would be nice if it happened.
please forward this to your engineering I guess I know what's responsible for breaking the hotend and I guess there will be many other cases in the future if you don't change the initial nozzle hight.
My M300 is well calibrated (do it every 3 or 4 prints) but I think the initial nozzle hight is just a little to small. The first layer gets really pressed into the holes and filament is squeezed together extremely. During the next 2-4 layer the nozzle touches the existing layers always a little bit and this gives high frequent vibrations to the hotend and the whole extruder.
This in combination with small hit on the nozzle during initial hight calibration at every start of a print does harm the hotent pretty much I'm sure.

There's an all-metal version of ZT-HE. Drop me a line if you want one. Now listed as an option in the store.
