Hi,
my belt tension seems to be uneven and i think the clicking noise is due to that since I already checked the pulleys.
How do I adjust belt tension?
Thanks

Hi there andy
First of all, you should try our x/y axis calibration instruction from our support: http://support.zortrax.com/xy-axes-maintenance/
If you will have more problems, please write to us at: support@zortrax.com
Best,
Chris
Hi Chris,
thanks for your answer.
I already ran the X/Y maintenance, which didn't have any effect.
After that i tried to loosen the bushings as it is described here: http://support.zortrax.com/eliminating-axis-problems/
As soon as they were loose the clicking sound was gone. I retightened everything and clicking is almost gone (sometimes still a bit)
I noticed that the big belts don't make the same sound when i tug them. Is that something that needs to be adjusted as well?
Thanks
P.S. Making a little test print atm, to see if everything is fine.
hello,
Hi,
that is why I asked how to adjust the belt tension. I don't find it in the manual.
What exactly is the timing belt?
There is nothing about .. On each of the guide there are two adjusting screws, you have to act on those, loosening or tightening them to vary the belt tension

The "timing belt" is what you are talking about. That's just the proper name for them. Long belts with teeth that drive the pulleys.
I'd appreciate a description how to tighten the belts properly. I found the screws that do the job. Some of the belts seem to be tighten but they dont make that swinging sound.
Beside that: The side of the belt where I can do the adjustment makes a different sound than the other one. Which one is the reference?
I get the clicking sound only when moving the extruder manually from left to right.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
