Introduction

Hi everyone!

I thought that it would be nice to introduce myself. I'm your new community manager here in Zortrax and I'm responsible for the whole company forum.

If any of you will have any questions, problems, suggestions, spam reports or whatever involved with this forum and our products, please don't hasitate to report it to me directly via private messages.

You're really great community and I'm very excited to work with you and for you.

Thanks to Kyle for all spam reports by the way! ;)

Your own CM,

Chris

Thanks for saying hi! In my opinion you’re doing a great job so far.

And I would help with the spam reports if there was a single click button (yeah, I’m lazy :stuck_out_tongue: ).

Well since this says Introduction...I guess it will be used as an introduction to all.

Hi.

My name is Bob....Bob Fisher and I am an alcoho.... :o oh wait, wrong forum.

   :P  :D

Cheers!

Like what Lab was talking bout. These spammers suck a>>. I am curious, its been so long, isn't there a verification process to register and post here or is it set up to make it easier for peeps to inquire bout things?

There is a dual click option already available (report > submit).

Should be acceptable even for lazy bones (like me too).

Hmm, last time I tried I only saw the form to fill out. I'll have to try again (looks like there'll be plenty practice).

Edit: just submitted one. Yes, you can do it in two clicks, but that means leaving the form empty which leaves poor Chris to guess what you're reporting. A one-click would make everyone's life easier.  B)

Well yes, there is but it's not sufficient. I will try to force some actions to handle that properly.

Any other ideas or suggestions? :)

Why or how can non active or deleted spammers still "like" posts people make?? This bugs me..

We'll check that Kyle, but is it that crucial? I mean, likes are positive thing, right? ;)

Not in this case.. It's like a bunch of people writing you bad checks.. You aren't happy until you find a valid one. The others are worthless..

At this rate, we will have more spammers than actual users.

Click 'view new content' then click 'users' on the left; I'd say that it's a reasonably small number getting through.

Now click last 6 months and try to click on 1 of them.. Most say "not active" but they can still like posts.. The ones you can see, take a look. General profile and under 3D printer they say yes or sometimes.. More spammers!! Why is this??? I would think they would be deleted completely. They still have a door in somehow.
