Inventure Material Pricing?

Hey,

So I'm excited to see the Inventure coming along and that pre-orders are now open. I just bought my second M200 today but still plan on ordering the Inventure soon. One issue though, you still haven't told us anything about it. Most importantly what the material costs. I'd love to pre-order one but I need to know if the filament will be in a price range worth doing business in. You going to pull a Mojo on us? Or just a little bump from the standard roll?

Other small issue is we still no next to nothing about the machine. How about more real photos? Info on the build volume since that's actually changed without any sort of update. How you are going about a heated chamber and protecting the hardware from the usual wear that's causes from the added heat. How you are getting around Stratysis patents?

Hope to hear something,

Josh

Me too, waiting for material price..

We have not yet ourselves received any exact details on the pricing for the filament, but be assured we will let you know as soon as we do ourselves and I have reached out to Poland to let them know that these are very important details to the public before they can/will feel comfortable placing their preorders.

Thanks and looking forward to posting this requested information!

As much as I love their machines I have to say Zortrax has some of the worst marketing out there. First they leave their distributors to share all important information. Then they announce important things and don't give out all the info. Then the release products without announcing anything. Few other things too but it would be really nice to see them work on this.

I also want to know the price of material for Zortrax Inventure. I did not order the printer until the price is known. I think a lot of people and businesses feel the same way.
Even in ordinary printers producers give the price of toner cartridge with the printer specifications.

These are the prizes of Z-Ultrat Plus:

19,90 EUR

21,90 USD

Amount of material in one cartridge: 300 - 350g.

Best regards,

Chris

They are "different" that's for sure, sometimes even difficult.

But they have some strange but good habits as well....

It seems their software is their pride and joy, and they will openly admit when there's something wrong with it and strive to fix it, which is certainly something you don't see with most other companies.

I don't think we'll ever figure them out, lol.

So it's 3 times more expensive than average non-Zortrax ABS spool. So I'm guessing Z-PVA would be so expensive also... around 70 EUR for 300-350g?

PVA? Did you even saw good print with PVA support? PVA have a disqualifying feature - ABS and other materials no stuck to PVA. And I never saw any PVA which can be printed in 260C or higher.

It's actually just 1.3 times expensive than Z-ULTRAT, it's a decent price. But I recomend a larger cartridge of course volume is smaller so it makes sense to have less material, but having a larger cartridge allows for more unattended operation. And the user will feel it lasts longer

I think my largest print in the 7-8 months I've been doing this was around 250g and over 16 hours long. Well I agree the 350g is a little on the small side I don't really think it will really be an issue. Plus from what I can tell the support and UltraT are in the same spool (maybe?) so you have to factor in that taking up some space in the cartridge too.

I pre-ordered the Inventure recently, hoping to find out how much the support filament will cost. also, finding out that the cartridge doesn't have much filament was a big disappointment...

We've done 3 days parts with the need to change spool. It comes useful to have more unattended operation when you are a professional and you buy a professional machine.

Being that the philosophy behind the new inventure, but from my point of view it's just a test to verify several technologies before they are implemented on the larger version of the printer announced to be on the works about a year ago.

From what I can see there is no way I will ever be buying one

The size and filament size/cost really turn me off.

if it wasn't for the pre-order price, I wouldn't have bought it.

Please share the support filament price.

There are 2 spots to place 2 different spools. One is the support material and one is the material itself. Possibly printing in 2 colors in the future.

I pre-ordered the Inventure a few weeks ago, and now I'm starting to get paranoid about the pricing for the support material. anyone else pre-ordered the Inventure?

if you have an idea on how much it is, please share. I'm wondering if I should just get a refund...

We are still waiting on the final price but I wouldn’t expect and extreme price. I wouldn’t be worried. I would assume close to the ultrat material price for the Inventure. Maybe $70-80. Not sure. Also the support spools will last longer due to much less material usage per print.
