Lateral Panels came deformed from the factory

My panels are deformed from the factory. How can I make them straight? After I installed them there are gaps between the metal chasis and the plastic panels…

Zortrax Team, any help? Please!

Hey, can you send more details? Please attach some photos as well. Additionally, include information about when you purchased these items. The more details you provide, the faster I can help you.

Here you go!

Unfortunately I ordered them 3 month ago… i just managed to get them installed so no return possible.

thank you for your fast reply

Do you have the latches properly secured at the top and bottom of the panel? Are there any filament residues or other obstructions in their place? It’s strange because I haven’t encountered this issue before. These panels fit very well, and in my printer, even after 5,000 hours, they still work without any problems.

All clean, no residue and the ears are in place. The problem is that they are curved even if they are not installed on the chassis. They are like this : ( )

Will the heat treatment fix my issue? Meaby with a heat gun?

You know, you can try, but it’s very strange. I print a lot at temperatures over 105°C on the bed, and I don’t have this issue. Try heating them, but remember that it might warp them even more. I would try swapping the sides; maybe that will help.

The m200 plus ones that I have are perfect… so idk

When did you purchase these panels and from which distributor? Maybe you should file a complaint if they are still under warranty?

I bought them from a local shop from bucharest. I also asked them.

Please advertise your purchase at the place where you bought it.

Ok so I managed to make them straight with a heat gun. The problem și the metal chassis. The hole is too small… now what? :))

Please submit an official complaint to your place of purchase. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation.
It often happens that counterfeit Zortrax products appear on the market, which can lead to issues like this—issues that do not occur with original Zortrax products.
Filing an official complaint will help clarify this situation.

I bought them from https://www.filamente3d.ro/

Now I ordered a new set of panels from https://www.atome3d.com/ They had them in stock. Let’s hope this set is good.

Great, thanks for the information. Feel free to participate in other threads on the forum. If you run into any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thanks! My zortraxs are the main production printers even tho’ I have very fast printers ( like the magneto X ) I keep zortrax because they are reliable.

Many people share this opinion. Despite the company’s temporary difficulties, it’s nice to read such news.

perfect. I just got the panels from Atome3D and when they are installed, they stay the same… a little curved. Dissapointed
