Here is a printed front baffle for a loudspeaker 1:2 scale. Had the 3d model from a previus print that had been printed on a Stratasys.
There are some elements of the print that are not that good… Probably because it wasn’t modeled for 3d print. But any surgestions on how to make it better is much appreciated.
I think it looks pretty good! The round posts have an issue but Martin said already that this will be fixed with an update (someone else did the torture print and the round posts looked the same).
Okay… Ye the end of the poles also needs to be caped, plus there should only be one hole from the front, not a hole with a circle inside. But i think the model is “just the wrong size”, looks like many surfaces are in lying in 1/2 layers… But mabe im wrong.

It should have a little bigger wall then holes will looks ok, something like a 0.x mm is missing there to infill it smoothly.
Is this ‘poles’ was designed with 1.5mm wall size?
[quote name=Kyle]Was that printed with support? The center circle almost looks like it would be support for the top of the peg.

That was my thought as well. Zortrax likes to put a thin wall of support around and inside everything - it looks so clean sometimes you think it’s your part but then your pull it away and there is your actual part behind it.
hmmm you might be right… Created this model over a one and a half year ago, so im not that intimate with the model, therefor I could easily be fooled by the support. Thanks for the input
