Recently purchased an m200 plus as a seondary printer from a friend… Plugged it, and turned her on and Im now getting flashing blue LEDs, with ‘Zotrax’ logo displayed for a few seconds, then ‘Z’ logo for a while.
Nothing happens past this point. Accept the screen will black out and back on.
I guess Im used to having a responsive dial interface. What am i doing wrong? What is that button on side of display for? it doesnt appear to help do anyting at this point.
Note - I already own the M200 for 8 or 9 years… still going strong!
Hey, generally speaking, what you described is an issue with the GUI, meaning there’s no communication between the Android system and the motherboard. Do the following:
Let me know once you’ve tried these steps. Additionally, please provide photos, but there’s a high chance that the motherboard is faulty, and the printer will need to be sent for service.
I should also share, before we got to this stage, previously i had different experiences.
1st time starting her up, red lights flashing. Print bed motor micro adjusting. Sound.
But same screen as mentioned.
Them another time, when i took the usb out, i got the attached message.
Good news - I performed all the above tasks, and it all booted up perfectly!
Thanks for your prompt help!
…I dont know excatly what plug or cord i may have wiggled, but she’s talking to me now! Looking good.
We appear to have lost connection to the camera… could be a ribbon issuie?
I look fowd to seeing how this newer ‘Plus’ compares to the old 200. Got a benchy happening now…
