Hi, I’m new to 3d printing and have recently aquired a 2nd hand M300 Dual. However, it needs a new hotend module to get it up and running. I have tried to find one on line, but with no luck. Just wondered if anyone could help me find one.
Thanks.

No responses?
I guess I’ve bought a very expensive door stop.
I’m sorry but I’m seeing that the after sales and support of Zortrax really sucks.
They don’t answer at the forum and email.
But they was very quick when it was time to sell the printer…
No more Zortrax for me!
Hi, I was on vacation. Please write an inquiry to support@zortrax.com about this part. It’s a busy period at Zortrax right now with a lot of inquiries, but if there are any issues, let me know privately.
You can also order a hot end and 0.6 nozzles and assemble it yourself. Probably the simplest solution.
Best regards
Hi,
I have the same issue, so I try to check the hot end.
I disassemble it, its easy, I clean alle the parts ad I re-assemble it.
The only issue that I found is on the corret hight between the two nozzle.
I explain better. Nozzle has a treaded part to connect to the rectangular part of the hotend. The extruson has the same treader end part and engage in the same treaded of the rectangular part, but in the other side.
Below an image:
During the work rectangular part need to be fixed, so to have it, nozzle need to push on the extruder.
I try many iterations of the “X” legnht, for example to screw the rectangular part until its stop on the extruder (X very short!), in this case the nozzle stay very out to the hotend. I try to fix the nozzle until stop and after screw the hot end part. In this case scenario the issue became on the alineament procedure on the printer because for example when (after all setup, platform e nozzle xy and z), the printer print the first support layer is too cloose to the platform and the wire came back with a wire gear that made toc…toc…toc… Probably the different hight of the two nozzle are out of the setting range of the printer…
So I ask to Zortrax if is possible (or anyone that have this informations),(because in this period is difficult to find new parts…), to have the correct procedure to re-assemble the hotend part with the correct gap to the two nozzle and the correct stroke of the mobile extruder.
In this way we can try to solve it while waiting for the new components to arrive.
Many thanks and best regards,
Simone.
That is strange. I disassembled and assembled it many times (for replacement of PTFE tubing) with no problem. Could you send a photo of the hotend assembled by you which this problem? I will try to compare it to my hotends that work.
