I would like to se adaptive and/or variable layer thickness as an option in Z-suite, to create better rounded edges and curves where these are intersected by the slicer. Say you have a cylindrical rod shape with at parabellic end (bullet shape) parallell to the Z-axis; you want maximal layer thickness over the straight part to optimize printing speed, but you want minimal layer thickness over the rounded end of the rod to maximize quality. I imagine this to be a feature fairly easy to implement. A lot of other slicer software has this kind of functionality, and since we’re limited to proprietary software with Zortrax products I feel they’re somewhat obliged to offer the same level of functionality as other software products.
