When I Add Object to the printing file, half of it is outside of the printing work envelope. No matter how I rotate it or move it, half of the object stays outside of the work envelope. I created the file using Autodesk Inventor, and have had ZERO other problems with this when using that program. It is an .stl file like all of the others....solution(s)????
why not post the file here?
did you check with netfabb for errors?
I'm guessing that there is a problem with STL.. If you post it, I'm sure we can figure it out.. Maybe you can split to get it to fit.. Might be seeing something else in the distance..

Please post your .stl file in here so we can check it.
It happened to me and i closed z-suite and opened again and it loaded above ground plane.
I COULD NOT move the part above the ground plane.
WHICH brings up a good point ....the move tool should have 3 axis of movement X,Y AND Z . not just x and y.
thanks
Kyle has a good idea, split the part in a clear area between the part and the off screen(hidden) part, then delete the extra bit.
