Multiple perimeters in future releases ?

I'm not one for wanting lots and lots of features that confuse and clutter the software, but a customer made comment today about only having one perimeter and if it would be strong enough to tap a printed hole. I suspect only having one perimeter would make them too weak to tap properly.

I'd be keen to know if this option is on the cards for the software?  Could also be helpful for those prints that have thin walls but end up with rather loose fill in between, or none at all for that matter.

Might be a nice accompaniment to the "surface layers" in the advanced menu. After all, surface isn't just the top and bottom! :)

I have tapped parts that seem to hold up pretty well if you use full infill..

Yes that was what I suggested. But one part I am printing uses over 200g of plastic at full fill and only has one hole. The customer would be happy with the lightest fill, which would save both print time and plastic.

Is it possible to use an insert? Maybe a T nut? Not too sure how your part looks though..
