Hi Everyone:
I just bought a used M300 Dual. I have been 3D printing for a couple of years, but all the other machines that I have used have PEI or thin spring aluminum plates. I use a glue stick on most of my prints. This has been critical for PETG because I found that if I don’t use it I can’t get the plate clean. The PETG just won’t come off, ruining the plate.
If I understand correctly, I should not use any kind of adhesive on the M300’s perforated platform. Is that correct? Is there any danger that PETG will ruin the plate?
Is it possible to clean the perforated platform at all? I clean the PEI plates with soap and hot water, but that won’t work here.
