Rising tower stability

Hello everyone.

I post this message because I no longer know what what, or how to do it, without understanding anything.

Since I received my M300 Dual printer (about 1 year), I have often printed in “single print”. But every time I wanted to print in “Dual printing”, there is the rising tower that breaks and there is filament flowing everywhere. (See video).

I did :

  • Axis maintenance
  • Belt tension control
  • Plate calibration (0.0 / 0.0 / 0.1 / 0.1)
  • Change of Z-Suppor filament

Nothing works, as soon as the tower reaches about 4-5 cm in height, it breaks and then the mess is everywhere. (Filament all around)

The object to be printed is good but it is only the tower that breaks.

Thanks for your help.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Hi,

Did you also perform the hotend switch calibration and nozzle alignment? While printing in the dual-extrusion mode - it is crucial to set the correct position of the hotends, as well as the extruder’s position.

Moreover - you can try the manual calibration.
