Support hard to remove

i have Zortrax M200 V4

i have print a normal Gopro extention, with ufficial zortrax abs gray - 0,14 layer, no fan, smart bridges.

the print result ok, but the support look impossible to remove, expecialli in inside area. this is the best i have, i have try any kind of tool....but nothing.

support removal was an issue for some Z-Suite releases, you could try an old one.

I would also try to flip the part with the marked surface to the bottom (use this as bottom surface).

Then print it without support und model plugs (fill the area with some distance between the upper and bottom surface) to it where support is really needed (if any).

Turn on the fan (40 - 60%), use thicker layers (190µ), print multiple copies to allow cooling between layers. Use one of these cheap wood carving chisels to remove the support ($10 for a whole set, but you only really want the one flat-bladed one).

mm thanks you, i will try with carving chisels, but next time maybe ita better i turn on the fan.

I upgraded to a Beta version of Z-suite 2.0, and support material is impossible to remove. I went back to Z-suite V1.11.4 and it works. I do like being able to delete support material from certain areas in the new software though, so it was a tough move.

Hi Jarred!

Do you use the version 2.0 or the latest one - 2.3.1? The problem with support described by you was solved some time ago.
