Hi there,
This is just to start a thread to share the place and how you keep you beloved machines.
Here is the cabinet I just ordered it showed up today. I will post some pictures as soon as I receive the machine and how the workspace will look.

That's a pretty good idea. This one would be a little fancier way to go:

Have you set up your machine yet? I'm looking for a permanent home for mine and I like the idea of the Craftsman box, I'm just wondering if its rigid enough.

Woah, that is beautiful!

The price is not so pretty, especially for the domestic version. Sears used to sell a Gerstner import for around $500, but I waited too long and it doesn't seem to be available there any more. The nice thing about ordering from Sears was that you could have it shipped to a local store and pick it up yourself, so no hanging around for UPS or whoever.

Mike, you give me $500 and I'll make if for you. It is nice though,

Yes it is. The cabinet works fine. But you may want to have some floor levelers installed, because the wheels can be a little anoying.
Also try to add enough weight to it because the zortrax is kid of heavy so the more weight the more stability.

Be careful what you offer - someone may take you up on it!

Based on that comment I would like to RETRACT my statement, because you have a good point. But for the record with $500 I could make a couple of them.
