I am reaching out regarding an issue with our M200 Plus machine. After startup, the screen remains gray following the appearance of the Zortrax logos, while the top LEDs flash red, blue, and green.
We have followed the troubleshooting steps on your website (“Troubleshooting: GUI PCB-Motherboard Connection Problem”) and replaced key components, including the LCP and PCB boards. Additionally, we tested the motherboard, extruder cable, and power supply using a working M200 Plus machine, confirming that both are functioning correctly. However, the issue persists.
This problem began after an automatic update, and despite multiple restarts and component replacements, the screen remains unresponsive. We also attempted to update the firmware using both the existing USB card and a new one, but the issue continues.
Could you please advise on the next steps to resolve this issue?
Looking forward to your response and hoping for a positive resolution, I remain at your disposal.
Hello, thank you for describing your problem. Please disconnect all USB drives and the Wi-Fi module. Try turning on the printer and let us know if it works.
Unfortunately, yes it is still no working without the USB flash drive. Attached the picture of the USB flash drive unplungged before to restart the machine.
Thank you. Please check all cable connections from the motherboard to the display. Disconnect the cable and verify that they are properly connected. Then, check the grounding of the motherboard and the Android board (green and yellow cable). Verify the main printer cable to ensure that the grounding pin and neutral are making proper contact. Please provide me with more photos so I can assess the condition of the motherboard and the Android board.
Thank you again for your message and your advices!
Unfortunately, we have checked all cable connections and the main printer cable. We have checked also the grounding of the power button and the power supply. We is situated the grounding of the motherboard and Android board?
I don’t see anything special here. You will probably have to send your printer to the service center. Please write to this email. This person will help you with everything. marcin.nowotka@zortrax.com
