WTF Firmware BUG - Zortrax New Beta Firmware V2 Noozle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QanDTk5XBr8

Edit:

Check the display - while I'm scratching with ABS/Plastic the printer is somehow executing "Enter" :) without me doing anything than scratching :)))))

I this a quiz?

WTF = the question: What's the failure?

And anybody has to watch a video for probably finding out what you want to tell, ask, request?

I don't get it.

@ Z-Renegade ich kann Dir keine PM Schreiben.. schreib mich mal an ! & https://de.wiktionary.org/wiki/WTF

Did you download the newest version of the firmware from download section? http://support.zortrax.com/home/zortrax-m200-overview/downloads/

I operated forums even before the WWW was introduced (in the 80s) and since then their biggest benefit was that one can search the contents of a forum with just a few keywords.

None of you videos can be searched like that, no-one would find any information about the issue. Of course it's good to add a video to a description of the problem.

I don't think this is a firmware issue, would consider a possible problem with electrostatic discharge that puts some load at the "button press" signal.

Maybe the button is defective, but I guess you have to scratch the plate in a very specific way to generate the effect.

Another effect could be that the contact between the perf board and the plate under it introduce a false signal.

The printer has no good blockage against such signals. For example if you move the extruder powered off, the stepper motors generate voltage that is reflected to the electronics in full.

I cannot write PM right now as I told before. As of today I know that I need to provide my printer serial to the account settings to activate it, will do later...

That's exactly what it is, an electrostatic discharge.
