Im having a similar problem. Prints are delaminating at about the same spot and when I turn the Z screw manually it makes a weird noise and 'skips'. I tried to lightly move the Z screw around and it gives. Is this normal? It seems loose to me.
Can someone please explain how to tighten the Z screw to the base as if you would to a 5 year old (which is more or less my mechanical capacity ;)?

Which HW version do you have? You can check it using menu on LCD Information -> Hardware version
So the summer has gone by, and the sun is starting to hide behind the clouds again... So spending some time in the basement with the M200 felt like a good idea.
I haven´t had any real problems with the Z-axis during the summer, but I haven´t made that many large prints either so.
But the last week, 4 or 5 prints have gone south, so I made a video explaining the problem.
The printer is a V2. And the lead screw is loose because I have loosened the 4 screws at the bottom.

I will send the links to the support team and see what they say...
Julia… It’s a Zortrax Forum page. I don’t think you can find any porn on there…
I agree that the stepper should spin freely. In regards to the linear bearings I would recommend to loosen the rod holding block screws on one side and then move the platform up and down. Maybe the rods aren’t perfectly parallel or are not at the perfect distance which can cause binding.
Please flag your movies as private and do not forget to delete it after problem is solved because just now this should stay between you and support, which mostly doing good job and shipping replacement parts.
Nothing good come for you, us or Zortrax by keeping movies like a this public on the youtube.
I think you need Z axis motor replacement, same as it happen here:

I have changed the movies to "Unlisted" so they can´t be found from the Youtube search engine, but still accessible from the forum here so people can watch it and comment on the problem.
