Z-SUITE 4.1.0 BETA

Dear users,

Z-SUITE 4.1.0 BETA has been released. This version builds upon the new multimaterial print settings of the 4.0.0 version, this time by expanding them on the Endureal printer.

Please consider, that support for Endureal is still experimental. Exercise caution, especially when handling High Temperature materials.

Here are the changes/new features:

  • Experimental Endureal support: Multimaterial features are now available for the Endureal printer
  • Performance improvements: The program now uses .NET 8.0
  • Changing sets by selecting model on scene: added the ability to select a model set, by clicking on a model of that set on workspace
  • Other minor bufixes and improvements

You can download this version here.
Please, feel free to share your feedback.

Hello @Damian94 , ist it possible that the beta version is installable beside the normal not beta Z-Suit version?

On my Mac this isn‘t possible, because the name is already defined in the Mac installer.

This is really annoying to by always install the version I need use at the moment.

I think this would make the testing of the beta version easier.

If I can remember from a long time ago this was possible.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

you can change the name of existing Z-Suite version for something like “Z-Suite stable”, and then Beta shall not overwrite it.

@Damian94 That was new to me. Worked, thank you very much.

I got very bad print quality with underexstrusion with the new Z-Suit.

The raft seems to look normal. Also the sets which different parameters. seems to have influence. But the parts itself look very bad.

Flow_Calibration_Matrix.3mf.zprojx.zprojx (53.9 KB)
Flow_Calibration_Matrix.3mf.zprojx.zcodex2 (123.5 KB)

Also on another print I got some issues.

I thing the sets didn’t made a change.
In this printed heat tower temperature changes should have been applied. But it doesn’t seems to work.

Temp_Tower_PLA.zprojx.zprojx (588.6 KB)
Temp_Tower_PLA.zprojx.zcodex2 (466.8 KB)

Any progress on supporting legacy models? I really would like to use the new options since 2.31…

Given how employee count at Zortrax fell from around 80 in 2023 to maybe 18 in 2025, I think it is a small miracle that they update their software and firmware at all…

But if they say they are working on it, I’d believe them.

i do believe there is work done on it, but perhaps it’s ‘at the bottom of the pile’ of the todo list? I’d like to see it getting some more urgency, considering there’s still a lot of M200 and M300 owners out there just itching to help with beta testing, amung which me!

AFAIK, the old M200 is no longer in an active sale/development, so its rather obvious they prefer to focus on something that makes them more money. I think adding Endureal (even if it is an experimental support) to the new BETA is a reasonable move. Again - they are 18 people there, and its safe to assume that not everyone is working on Z-Suite. Somebody has to handle technical support, office, IT, etc…
So yeah, be patient, they are working on it, they probably are testing their options to find a solutions that would be best for everyone.
