Z-Suite Now Not Loading - Please Assist

Hi

am I running Z-Suite 1.13.1.1 on Windows 10.

Until a few days ago the software was working fine, however yesterday it stopped working and now crashes out after popping up a white splash screen on loading for a few seconds.

The only thing that has changed recently is that the Windows machine has installed automated windows updates. I have uninstalled these updates but this has made no difference. I have uninstalled Z-Site and reinstalled a few times with no impact. The only update I could not uninstall was a security update and so I wonder if that made an impact, especially as there seems to be some kind of "UnsafeNativeMethods" error that is causing this failure.

I cannot run z-Suite 2 on my hardware due to not meeting GPU specs

Any help you can provide will be much appreciated, as I cannot now run z-Suite on any of my hardware.

Hi Chris,

Please do the following:

1. Uninstall Z-SUITE, .NET Framework, Microsoft Visuals C++

2. Clean the registry using the file I sent you via PM.

3. Delete this catalogue C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Zortrax (if you have your own profiles please copy them)

4. Install Z-SUITE, .NET Framework, Microsoft Visuals C++ another time (remember to install the latest versions)

5. Launch Z-SUITE as the administrator.

Maybe reinstalling .NET Framework and Visuals will be sufficient, so you can start with this step.

BTW. Why do you use the version 1.13.1.1?

Please try to reinstall drivers of your graphics.

Which version of .NET Framework and Visuals C++ do you have?

I would try with older versions.

Hi All,

Also experiencing the same problem from this weekend. I haven’t used Z-Suite in about a month (was post processing items) and was using version 1.13.1.1 as well. The only change was that there was an update on my PC. However since then I have uninstalled the updates. Still having the problem. So far I have tried the following:

Uninstall Z-Suite
“Uninstall .Net Framework” - Followed method on internet and “turned off check box under “Turn on/off Features”, restarted PC, Selected Check Box”
Uninstall Visuals C++ that was downloaded or updated during this year. There were a few which was installed in 2016 (was a bit nervous to delete them as that came with the PC and not sure what impact it would have or which one to reinstall after"
Reinstall Z-Suite Version 2.11.1
Installed .Net Framework - Selected Check Box
Installed Visuals C++ - This was done as Z-Suite version was installing
Reinstalled Graphics Card

Still the problem persists.

Pic below is of the problem on Z-Suite, Cant do anything.

I am not that clued up with the software part but I really need z-suite to work to continue printing and working. Can you please assist in informing me where I am going wrong or what I must do.

Hello,

Can you provide more information concerning your operating system, RAM memory etc.?

Are you unable to run any previous Z-SUITE version, even 1.X.X one? Please note that in order to run 2.11.1 you need to have VC++ 2013 and 2017 (previous versions required 2013 and 2015 ones). I cannot see this version in the screenshot. VC++ 2017 can be downloaded here. Just double-check that, please.

Also, do you have two graphics card on your computer? Apart from reinstalling the graphics card, you may disable one and check if this does the trick. If you have an external monitor - please unplug it.

If there is still no result - you can also clean the registry.
