Zortrax M200 Motherboard Repair

Hi,
I own a Zortrax M200 which was working perfectly fine up until a few days ago when suddenly all my printed parts became extremely difficult to separate from the raft. I checked everything and it seemed like the bottom extruder fan had stopped working.

I tried to measure the voltage between its pins but my hand slipped and I caused a short-circuit which blew both fans and I suspect the Q11 transistor on the Motherboard.

I bought new fans and connected them and the top extruder fan is working but the bottom one is still not running. Could it be that Q11 is dead? I can’t seem to find the transistor online (Marked U5W1Q). Does anyone know what it is and where to find it or an equivalent transistor? Does my theory sound right?

Also, the voltage between on the bottom fan is around 10V and on the top fan about 24V now.

Damian, could there be other reasons for the raft to be so super hard to separate from the model without damaging the model? I should mention that I am using the default settings.

You can experiment with two things:

  1. Perform the platform calibration
  2. Increase the first layer gap in Z-Suite settings
