Zortrax M200 Nozzle Temperature Stuck at 0°C (Sensor Not Reading)

Hello,

We are experiencing an issue with our Zortrax M200 printer. The nozzle temperature is always displayed as 0°C (or sometimes 1–2°C), but the nozzle is physically heating up, so the heater is working.

Here’s what we have tried so far:

  • Updated firmware (multiple versions tested)
  • Tested with a 100K NTC thermistor
  • Tested with a PT100 platinum temperature sensor
  • Checked all wiring and connections
  • Measured sensor cables with a multimeter

Despite all this, the temperature reading does not change.

Possible causes we suspect:

  • Faulty temperature reading circuit (ADC) on the motherboard
  • Zortrax M200 may not support standard 100K NTC sensors
  • Original sensor might be a different type (possibly thermocouple)

Questions:

  1. What type of temperature sensor does the Zortrax M200 originally use?
  2. Why are 100K NTC and PT100 not working?
  3. Has anyone faced and solved this issue?
  4. How can I verify if the motherboard is damaged?
  5. Any alternative sensor or workaround available locally (Türkiye)?

We urgently need the printer operational, and sourcing parts internationally is currently not an option.

Thanks in advance.
