Hello,
We are experiencing an issue with our Zortrax M200 printer. The nozzle temperature is always displayed as 0°C (or sometimes 1–2°C), but the nozzle is physically heating up, so the heater is working.
Here’s what we have tried so far:
- Updated firmware (multiple versions tested)
- Tested with a 100K NTC thermistor
- Tested with a PT100 platinum temperature sensor
- Checked all wiring and connections
- Measured sensor cables with a multimeter
Despite all this, the temperature reading does not change.
Possible causes we suspect:
- Faulty temperature reading circuit (ADC) on the motherboard
- Zortrax M200 may not support standard 100K NTC sensors
- Original sensor might be a different type (possibly thermocouple)
Questions:
- What type of temperature sensor does the Zortrax M200 originally use?
- Why are 100K NTC and PT100 not working?
- Has anyone faced and solved this issue?
- How can I verify if the motherboard is damaged?
- Any alternative sensor or workaround available locally (Türkiye)?
We urgently need the printer operational, and sourcing parts internationally is currently not an option.
Thanks in advance.
