Nice Sam!  A close friend used to collect antique pop-pop boats, but passed away a few years ago.  I'll have to print one in his memory.

Mike

He had good taste. Do you have any picture of his collection?

Cool stuff Sam!

Wow, great job!

He had good taste. Do you have any picture of his collection?

Sorry, but no.  He must have had dozens of them in various sizes.  He also collected old steam engines, the kind that were manufactured as toys and like the ones from 1950 and earlier.  He had some fantastically detailed models from Europe.

Here is a web site he liked, though you have probably already seen it.

Yup, seen that site before. :)

just printed it, same colors. did you use acetone on the boat or not?

Yes. the engine must be polished with acetone, so it's waterproof.

Yup, seen that site before. :)

The last picture on that page is one of his boats.

Sam! This is definitely one of the best printed things I've ever seen!

Nice! Thank you for remind me one of my first toys in the early sixties. Kind of Madeleine…

Honestly, I am a bit disapointed. Not because I didn't win, but because things like this beat me: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:923720
