First layer gap

I would like to better understand the meaning of this option.

Default option is set to 0,21mm
In this first layer is the blue parts raised by 0,21mm and grey not ?

after some layers we come to this point
again is blue parts raised by 0,21mm and grey not ?

Hi Roby,

First layer gap does not actually raise the model - it rather cuts the bottom part of the model off (by a given value). Both the support and model are cut in the same way - so they are exactly on the same height.
